The Anti-Aging strategy most people don't know about
Are you interested in slowing the aging process? How about knowing a strategy to be sure you are able to have good function of your brain for life? What about gaining confidence that your health is so solid that you don’t have to worry about the risk of a heart attack or a stroke? Or having a much better chance of maintaining good vision for life? Did you know that this strategy is not very well known or talked about?
Have you heard of the endothelium? This is the lining of all of our blood vessels. It is minding the health of the endothelium that can gain us all these wonderful benefits of slow aging, which would even include looking younger for much longer. Let’s look a bit at what this lining of the blood vessels is all about, how the strategy would work and how you could get started.
The health of the endothelium is crucial in ensuring that we get good blood flow. It is here that we get the production of nitric oxide. This incredible chemical helps to be sure you always have adequate oxygen throughout the body. This in turn means having enough energy to enjoy life, oxygenation of the skin cells (to keep them looking young) and lots of blood flow up to the brain for clear thinking and optimized cognitive ability. Keep your endothelium healthy and you will slow the aging process! One of the reasons for this is that healthy vessels (the endothelium lines your vessels) produce lots and lots of nitric oxide - a very important key to the constant healthy oxygenation of the body.
Nitric oxide plays an important role in maintaining the flexibility and the tone of the blood vessels. NO helps the blood vessels to open, which is called vasodilation. This in turn increases blood flow to the muscles, the organs, the brain and the skin. NO also helps to reduce clots in the blood by actively reducing platelet aggregation. It also helps to reduce inflammation in the vessels and protects the vessel lining from oxidative stress.
It is the damage to the endothelium, which comes as a result of diet, lifestyle and exposure to certain toxins, that causes it to diminish in its ability to produce nitric oxide. This is really the inception point of aging! To stop the damage is to create the conditions for longevity. What causes the damage? Are there foods or changes in one’s lifestyle that could actually increase the ability of the vessels to product more nitric oxide, which would pretty much make them young again? Let’s find out!
